Since 2010, Hazel Kudera has served as CEO of her company, NYC Healthcare Staffing in New York. With a background in accountancy and finance, Hazel Kudera maintains her membership with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
An association dedicated to serving accountants members and stakeholders, PICPA aims to maintain, promote, and uphold high standards in the profession. PICPA-affiliated professionals are within four practice sectors, which are commerce & industry, education, government, and public practice.
CPAs can enter the PICPA website to check for job opportunities despite their membership status, and the organization also provides a code of ethics handbook for CPAs free of charge. Many seminars and training are available on the association’s webpage.
Often, PICPA cooperates with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), to provide PICPA members with webinars held by ACCA Global. Also, PICPA includes training opportunities and review classes for professionals willing to become accredited by ACCA.
